PRESIDENT OF IRELAND VISITS SPIRITUAL CARE CENTRE

On 12th September 2007, the President of Ireland, Mary McAleese, visited the Spiritual Care Centre at Dzogchen Beara. It was truly an unforgettable day. President McAleese is the first Head of State to visit a Rigpa Centre anywhere in the world.

Wouldn’t it be great if all speeches…were as moving as this one by the President of Ireland, Mary McAleese? Would’t it be great if we could all find in ourselves such profound humour while being able to discuss so openly the subject most of us prefer not to mention – ‘Death’? Wouldn’t it be great if her visionary aims came to fruition soon?
