Obama on Race & Politics: “A More Perfect Union” Speech—video & text links
In my view, this speech will go down in history as a classic speech in American political life—or, at least I hope it will. So much that needs saying is said here. Obama’s speech is masterful in it’s balance…and hueing to his own truth, refusing to be thrown off his horse by burrs placed under the saddle by media nags. I love the theme of unification over division. It’s the United States of America, right? Unity of any kind is so hard-won in a country of such diversity.
