Audio Book Launch Begins in Nashville!
A year ago we started the journey of making “Sightlines: A Family Love Story in Music and Song.” It was a long-held dream of mine since “Sightlines: A Poet’s Diary” came out in 2006 to make an audio with music to go along with the book. I happened almost by chance when I decided to visit blogging buddies Hal Manogue and Yvonne Perry in Nashville and discovered Yvonne’s son in law was an aces sound engineer. Nashville! Where was a better place? When was a better time. I went for it.
When we began, I didn’t have a clue of what would be involved in completing the project, how much it would cost, or how long it would take. I only had a passion to do it. We did it!
Now, a year later, I’m returning to Nashville to celebrate the audio book’s launch in the city where it began. Music city–here I come!
