GALLERY TALK
Janet Riehl, an artist in several media, has created over 2,500 digital images on her smart phone. She’s chosen 30 of these sensual and colorful images to elegantly frame, and sell as a benefit for the Portfolio Gallery & Education Center.From the $150 sale price for each framed print $100 profit goes straight to the Center. Janet hopes to raise $3,000 to cover the cost of new air-conditioning for Portfolio (their copper tubing was stolen). We’ve raised $1,000.
Janet will speak briefly, answer questions, and give us a demonstration of how she made these images.
The Portfolio Gallery & Education Center exhibits works by some of the best local, regional and national African American artists and offers school enrichment programs, after school classes, and other programs for children and adults.
